Justin Bieber skips 2018 Grammys

It was very apparent that Canadian singer and songwriter Justin Bieber was missing from the Grammys this year. The 23-year-old singer's absence was very much felt, and has led the media and his fans to question just what he was so busy with that he missed one of the biggest music award ceremonies.

As it turns out, Bieber was seen out and about in public with his close friends, and decided to spend time with them rather than attend the Grammys. Bieber and his friends went out somewhere in West Hollywood, California, which is not so far from the singer's home in Beverly Hills. Rumor has it that the popular icon decided to forego all music-related award ceremonies until he finishes the current album that he has been working on, which has no projected release date as of now.

In the photos showing Bieber during his night out with his friends, he is seen wearing a red hoodie with the word "Thrasher" on it, while wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, white sneakers, and shorts. Given that Bieber was out of the house while the Grammys was airing, it is notable to mention that he was perhaps not even interested in watching the event unfold — which is interesting since the Canadian has a lot of colleagues and friends who attended the event.

Additionally, Bieber was not spotted with his romantic partner and fellow singer, Selena Gomez, while he was out in public. Perhaps, Gomez herself was busy with her own personal projects, but no news has surfaced to shed light on this matter. However, Bieber's absence at the Grammys is nothing new as he also did not attend the event a number of times in the past.
