Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez updates news: Travels to Seattle via private jet

Although they have yet to officially reveal their relationship to the public, it is definitely no secret that Canadian pop star and Selena Gomez are exclusively dating. Just recently, it has been reported that the two hopped on a private jet last Saturday, Dec. 16, and visited Seattle.

In a report by Entertainment Tonight, the couple boarded the private jet at the Van Nuys airport in California, with Gomez reportedly being in thick layers of clothing. This naturally makes a lot of sense, especially given their destination. Additionally, the two looked like they packed quite a bit of luggage, which also suggests that they will be gone for a while. In order to avoid the public eye, they tried to conceal their identities from the paparazzi.

Despite rushing toward the private jet, the two looked genuinely excited and happy about their trip. According to insiders, Gomez and Bieber went shopping at the luxury mall The Shops, which is located at The Bravern outside of Seattle in Bellevue. What was initially thought to be a romantic getaway turned out to be an adventurous shopping spree, and it is safe to assume that the couple just wanted a more private spot to spend time together.

The two pop stars were not alone in their trip to Seattle as they were accompanied by two others -- one male, and one female friend. There are speculations that the getaway trip was something that was spontaneous, but meaningful, which is very much timely since there are reports revealing that Gomez's family "is still getting comfortable with the idea of them back together."

Notably, it is also rumored that Gomez currently has plans to spend time with her family for the coming holidays. It may sadden fans of the couple to know that Bieber is not invited to join Gomez's family.
