'Justice League Dark' characters: John Constantine, Zatanna, Brand, Jason Blood

While everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the DC Universe lineup of movies has already been bared. But it seems that there is one missing on the list of films set for releases in the coming years, one of which is Guillermo del Toro's Justice League Dark film named Dark Universe.

And even if it was not on the official film lineup, del Toro says that it is pretty much included. With the script already in the hands of Warner, it certainly looks like it. And that is not all. Apparently the characters who will be appearing have been named, though unofficially.

Though the team does seem to share a faint bell, the characters who comprise the said film are pretty much familiar. That includes John Constantine, Zatana, Deadman and Jason Blood. Though not necessarily a team you can compare to the famed Justice League, this Dark Universe squad could be something to watch out for.

Remember how Guardians of the Galaxy made its way to stardom when only Marvel comic readers actually knew about them? Well it could follow the same route.

Now while there are four names mentioned, there are some missing as well. That includes Madame Xanadu, Frankenstein, Shade and Changing Man. If you have been an avid DC comic reader then these names should ring a bell.

Except perhaps for Constantine, Zatana and the Deadman, the other characters are ones some may have not seen on films or animated series, well at least not yet. So it will be interesting to see how these characters would be brought to life on the big screen.

Now do take note that these remain unofficial and that Warner and DCU have yet to make it official. Just the same, this is one movie that could pull off a fast one!
