Jill and Derick celebrate 2nd month of Israel David in Pistol Pete onesie

After weeks of having no activity on her social media accounts, new mother Jill Duggar finally broke her silence by sharing a photo of her and husband Derick Dillard's smiling baby boy, Israel David.

On her Instagram account, Jill wrote: "Happy 2 month birthday #IsraelDavidDillard! We are so blessed to be your parents! May you grow up to love Jesus and serve others!"

People think that Israel's smile is really adorable, and fans cannot help but express glee that Jill and the rest of the Duggars are ready to share details about their lives once again after the tumultuous Josh Duggar child molestation scandal.

"He's so cute! Glad to see you back! We appreciate your family and are praying for all of you!" a fan commented on her photo.

Another person wrote, "May God bless you and your beautiful family. No sinner without a future and no saint without a past. Wishing you and your family all the best of luck."

In the photo, Israel is wearing an Oklahoma State University (OSU) onesie. OSU is actually Derick's alma mater, and it was also where Derick's own father Rick Dillard went to college. During his college days, Rick was the school mascot Pistol Pete, so Derick decided to follow his father's footsteps and secretly try out as Pistol Pete.

Even before he could accomplish this, however, Derick's father sadly passed away in 2008.

"That was the first thing that Derick said when I told him that his dad died: 'I never got to tell him that I was going to try out for Pete,'" Derick's mom, Cathy Dillard Byrum, told The O'Colly in 2009.

Derick was devastated by his father's death, but it only made him more determined to become Pistol Pete. His mother observed: "I think it was a way for him to give something back. When you lose someone you think of the stuff you wish you'd said, wish you'd done, and this was a way for him to wrap that all up and give it back."
