Jesus Appears As Bus Driver To Muslim Pilgrim In Makkah, Convincing Him To Convert To Christianity

Many non-believers have had visions of Jesus Christ—mostly in their dreams—before they converted to Christianity.

But Omar, a new Christian convert, saw Jesus not in his dream or in any mental imagery but inside a bus—the bus driver himself!

Before his dramatic encounter with Jesus, Omar was a disheartened Muslim pilgrim on his way home from Makkah, Saudi Arabia, according to God Reports.

He had just finished performing the pilgrimage, called Hajj, which is one of the five pillars of Islam and a mandatory religious obligation for Muslims.

Omar felt hopeless and empty inside as he joined the multitude of white-robed pilgrims gathered at Islam's holiest site, according to the JESUS Film Project.

After carrying out the various rituals, including "Stoning the Devil," he still felt something missing in his life. Omar walked sadly to the bus station to return home, feeling tired and empty.

He then noticed something strange at the bus station. It was normally filled with pilgrims, but at that time there was only one bus and it was empty.

When he boarded the bus, the driver told him: "We don't have any passengers yet, but I can see you have a problem. There's a store over there. See that large rock? Just go sit on that rock and talk to Isa [the Muslim name for Jesus]."

"But why?" Omar asked the driver incredulously.

"Try it. Go there. Talk to Isa. You've tried everything else," the driver answered.

Omar heeded the driver's advice even as he wondered how the driver knew what was on his mind.

Omar sat down on the rock as instructed. He then uttered the name "Isa." Suddenly, his body began to shake and he felt something powerful filling his heart and body.

"I spent two hours there without being conscious of the passing of time," he told the JESUS Film Project.

After regaining his composure, Omar went back to the street, but the bus with the mysterious driver was already gone.

When he finally reached home, the first thing Omar did was to look for anyone who could tell him something about Isa. He found a man who gave him a DVD film whose title is "Isa."

The stranger invited him to his house to watch the movie and have dinner with him.

After sharing a meal together, they sat down to watch the JESUS Film.

When the movie reached the part when John baptised Jesus in the Jordan River, Omar was stunned after seeing the face of the actor who portrayed Jesus. "Wow, that's the driver! That's the driver in the bus! He's the One who told me to talk to Isa!" he shouted.

Omar realised that he had met Isa on the bus. Omar eventually surrendered his life to Jesus as his Saviour and Lord.
