Jessa Duggar is loving married life with 'best friend' Ben Seewald as she shares surprisingly intimate photo of them kissing

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald surprised their 1,000 wedding guests at the weekend when they headed out the sanctuary after exchanging their vows to share their first kiss in private.

But the newlyweds clearly didn't intend for every kiss to be private, as Jessa has just shared a surprisingly intimate photo with all her Instagram followers of the pair enjoying a tender smooch.

She captioned the photo with a tribute to her new husband: "It's great living life with your best friend!"

The couple tied the knot on Saturday and the kiss at the altar wasn't the only tradition they broke with, serving guests ice cream sundaes instead of wedding cake, and Jessa wearing a gorgeous blush tone gown instead of the usual white wedding dress.

Pastor Mike Schadt, who oversaw the wedding ceremony, said that Jessa and Ben had made the decision themselves to have their first kiss away from the eyes of their guests.

Guests at the wedding included 'Fireproof' actor Kirk Cameron, who said he wanted his own daughters to learn from their example.

"We flew to the Duggar hometown, not only to be part of the fun and excitement of honouring this precious couple, but as a father, I want my daughters to see what it looks like when a couple reserves their 'first kiss' for at the altar," he wrote on Facebook.

"Wow! This kind of moral excellence and purity is rare today, but our sons and daughters are priceless. This dad has only a few years to etch these meaningful images on the minds of his children."

Cameron looked thrilled to be with the pair on their special day and revealed he also hung out with the 19 Kids and Counting family at church the next day.

"We were also invited to the Duggars house after for volleyball, campfire singing, and dessert till 1:30 am," Kirk shared. "We even got to worship together at church the next morning and Jim Bob and Michelle were excited to share with family and friends about Saving Christmas (www.SavingChristmas.com)! Be sure to watch the wedding episode of 19 and Counting on TLC!!"

He shared this sweet picture of the three of them on his Facebook.
