19 Kids and Counting: Duggar family celebrate Jana and John's birthday, Mike Huckabee calls family a victim of bullying and ridicule

There are 19 kids in the Duggar household and the family makes sure that each birthday is celebrated even in a simple way. This week, twins Jana and John celebrated their birthday and their sister Jessa took this to Instagram to share it with the world.

Alongside the photo of the birthday celebrants is the caption that reads: "Happy birthday to Jana & John! #Twins These two are fantastic older siblings and such amazing role models for me! Love them so much!

Jana and John are the second eldest siblings in the Duggar Family, next to Josh. Yet, younger sisters Jill and Jessa got married first. Jana has yet to find the right man for her, while John isn't courting anybody at the moment. In December 2014, Jana was the subject of a dating rumor with Tim Tebow, which was later proven to be untrue as the two have never met.

Elsewhere, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has a few words to describe the Duggar Family. The Republican presidential candidate defends and praises them in his book "God, Guns, Grits and Gravy."

An excerpt from the book reads, "I've marveled at the exemplary manners and behavior of all their children." He also added that "they [Duggar Family] have endured relentless and vicious ridicule from the snobby and snotty sophisticates ... [Bullies] exemplify their own jealousy of how well behaved the Duggar kids are compared to the little hellions and yuppie larvae created by the critics of the Duggars."

Granted that Huckabee is actually a close friend of the family, he still makes a valid point. He described the kids as a dream for parents in the way they deal with the siblings, their parents and household chores.

In the past months, the LGBT community has continuously engaged in a battle to get "19 Kids and Counting" off the air.  The Duggars, on their part, said that they love everyone the same, but still stands by their convictions of what they believe.

"19 Kids and Counting" season 9 returns on February and the season's highlight will be Jessa and Ben Seewald's wedding.
