Jessa Duggar Admits Sister Jill's Absence Has Been 'Difficult For Me'

The Duggar siblings from the TLC show have a very special bond. They are so used to spending a lot of time together that when Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard and moved to Central America for their family ministry, the rest of her brothers and sisters missed her terribly.

During the latest episode of "Counting On," Jessa, 23, shared her family's excitement when the Dillards returned to the United States to take a short break from their ministry.

"For most everybody, it's been nearly 10 months since they've got to hang out with them and see them in person," she said, according to Us Magazine.

"Jill and I have had so much in common over these past three years," she continued. "It's been difficult for me not to have that connection with her, sister to sister — now mom to mom. So we're looking forward to having them back."

The other Duggar kids felt the same way. "We're so excited to have Jill and Derick back in town," Josiah added. "Nobody wants to miss out on this, so we're all going to the airport to welcome them."

Jessa, who is currently pregnant with her second child, actually planned on having her second baby the same time as her sister Jill. During the season finale of "Counting On" Season 1, the two were asked, "Which of the two of you will have your second child first?"

"It's hard to say," Jessa answered with a smile, then looked at Jill.

"I think we will probably be pregnant at the same time," Jill then said. "But to say who will be first, well Israel is older... so we will see."

Fans of the show were speculating then that Jill was already pregnant with baby number two, but it was actually Jessa who already had a bun in the oven. For now, the Duggars still don't know about the gender of Jessa's second child.
