Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez rumors: A-Rod feeling 'pressured' to propose

A report says former New York Yankees Alex Rodriguez is feeling pressured to propose to girlfriend of nine months, Jennifer Lopez.

A source told Life and Style Magazine that the 48-year-old singer-actress, who has been married thrice before, is ready to jump in again with the retired baseman. J. Lo is reportedly pressuring A-Rod to get married and said flat out that she is "ready. Marry me."

The insider said the 42-year-old former baseball player is madly in love with Lopez, but does not see the need to rush into another marriage. "He's feeling a little pressured," the source added.

It seems like Jenny from the Block is getting her way though, as Rodriguez is reportedly letting her decide the schedule. "When J. Lo says jump, most people ask how high. Alex is no different." The insider added that Lopez is "clearly the boss."

Also adding fuel to the flame are the couple's children from previous marriages. J. Lo's 9-year-old twins with Marc Anthony — Max and Emma — as well as A-Rod's daughters with Cynthia Curtis — Natasha and Ella — are getting along really well together. In early November, Rodriguez posted a photo of the six of them having a Sunday afternoon ice cream break.

The power couple debuted at the Met Gala last May. This December 2017, they are gracing the cover for Vanity Fair. Here they talked about how their similar modest beginnings and instant hits at an early age caused both of them to fight their own demons. Now both in their 40s, they have each survived the worst and are turning a new leaf.

Rodriguez told Vanity Fair that he and Lopez are very much like twins. "We're both Leos; we're both from New York; we're both Latino and about 20 other things," he said in the interview.

Lopez, meanwhile, said she understands him "in a way that I don't think anyone else could, and he understands me in a way that no one else could ever."
