Hollywood actress, Jennifer Lawrence, had been seen wearing what resembles a sizable engagement ring. These sightings have sparked rumors that Lawrence and director Darren Aronofsky could possibly be already engaged. The couple have been dating for more than a year, which adds more fuel to the rumors. However, how true are these speculations?

In a report by The Sun, Lawrence was spotted wearing a very casual attire, but one thing stood out from her outfit – a "huge bling" that was very visible when the actress attempted to hide her face. It is notable to mention that reports such as these have plagued Lawrence in the past, which have been successfully swatted by the actress' representatives.

According to the Celebrity Insider, Lawrence had already announced that she would be taking a break from acting, and currently has no projects for the next two years. This could be another proof that Aronofsky and Lawrence are quietly trying to tie the knot, and spend some time enjoying each other's' company. Even though Aronofsky and Lawrence had only met during the set of "Mother!," the two are reported to have a unique connection. The couple first appeared publicly in the premiere of the said film.

In a report by Inquisitr, when Lawrence was asked regarding her plans on what to do during her two-year break, she replied that she will be "making pots," which is obviously an attempt at humor. The publication also added that couple see eye-to-eye regarding the status of their relationship and on arrangements for the wedding.

Despite having an undeniable relationship, it is still possible that the two have no set plans of actually getting married. A report by Gossip Cop completely debunks the whole idea of the engagement rumors. A close source informed them that Lawrence was actually not wearing an engagement ring, but a "costume jewelry."

With conflicting sources of information, it is difficult to tell at this point which rumors are actually true.
