iPad Pro 2015 specs rumors: image of alleged iPad pro case leaked

As Apple gives radio silence in response to growing speculations about its purported 12.2-inch tablet tagged by the Apple community as the iPad Pro or the iPad Air Plus, rumor mills have been working vigorously to get a glimpse of what the giant tablet would look like. The latest buzz about the so-called iPad Pro is a new leaked image by French leak specialist Nowhere Else. The image shows what looks like the future device's casing. According to the website, it originated from a reliable source the site has known for quite a while.

However, the image did not come along with details. But just by looking at the case in the photo (although there is nothing to compare it with), MacRumors said that the giant protective case can house a 12.2-inch to 12.9-inch tablet. It certainly is too big for the iPad Air 2, BGR commented. The sheath has two cutouts for a pair of speakers, one at the top and the other on the bottom along with a Lightning port cutout. At the top left, an outlet for a headphone jack can be found while the back has a cutout for the camera. On the left is what MacRumors believes to be for a SIM tray, suggesting that it is for a Cellular iPad Pro. In addition, space for the volume rocker is notched on the right side of the case while the power button cutout is situated on the top right. Overall, the placement of the cutouts imitates the arrangement employed on iPad Air and iPad mini models.

While the design looks fairly spot on, the leaked image remains unfounded. Nevertheless, this has many hoping that the iPad Pro will arrive soon. In fact, users are already keeping their eyes out for the second or third quarter of 2015. The biggest one on the bunch, the giant tablet is said to come with a hefty 12.2- to 12.9–inch high-resolution display and an ultra thin body. It is said to pack either an A8X or A9 processor and rumors also suggest that Apple will create a stylus for the device.
