iOS 9.3 news: only developers can utilize 7th beta seed

Apple recently released another beta version, the seventh, for its upcoming iOS 9.3. The latest version is only for Apple Developer Enterprise Program members and public beta testers, and not for the general public. It can be downloaded for the iPhone, iPad and iPad touch.

The Cupertino-based tech giant released the latest beta seed a week after beta 6, and has been in the testing stage since Jan. 11. The company has been fine-tuning iOS 9.3 for three months now.

Several new features have also been included in iOS 9.3. It now contains the Night Shift Mode, which adjusts the amount of blue light emitted by the display during nighttime. Blue light, according to studies, has an adverse effect on the human body. The application will make the display emit a warmer tone of light, as Mac Rumors reported.

It is also said that iOS 9.3 will have improvements to its Apple News and Apple Music apps. The Apple News will be able to provide more personalized content, while users will be able to add songs on Apple Music coming from third-party applications.

Multiple Apple Watches running watchOS 2.2 can be accommodated by the said iOS version, while Weather, Compass, Health, Settings, iTunes Store and App Store can be immediately accessed with the introduction of the new Quick Actions function.

The upcoming iOS version will also be incorporating a multi-user login screen specifically geared toward iPads used by educational institutions. Several students can have individual log-in credentials on the same iPad unit so that their school progress can be saved with each corresponding user and not just as a general user. Additionally, Apple's educational program for the iPad features an Apple School Manager and an improved Manage Your Apple ID functionality.

For developers and public beta testers, the latest version is available for download from the Apple Developer's website, while the general public needs to have a little more patience. However, it is believed that this may be the last beta stage for the said version and there is a possibility that iOS 9.3 may be released after the scheduled Apple event happening on March 21.
