Jailbreak aficionados are looking forward to July 1. Pangu, one of the prominent jailbreaking teams in the community, announced an event for the said date.

Gottabemobile reported a few days ago an invitation sent out by the Pangu team and mentioned a special event that will happen on the first day of next month. It is speculated that an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak tool will be released, bypassing the iOS 9.2. 3u.com originally posted a copy of the invite.

Since not enough information is available, there is a bit of confusion concerning the iPhone's OS version that a jailbreaking tool has been created for.  Apple has already released multiple iterations of its latest mobile operating system, iOS 9.3, iOS 9.3.1 and iOS 9.3.2.  An iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak is also possible since the beta version is rumored to be ready.to roll out.

Adding to reports, the Redmond-based tech giant has stopped signing an iOS 9.3.1 version, which means that users who have iOS 9.3.2 on their devices will not be able to downgrade to the lower version anymore.  If the jailbreak tool is for the older version, devices with the newer versions will not be able to use the tool..

The last jailbreak tool that was released to the public was for iOS 9.1. Then it was reported that an Italian hacker that goes by the name of Luca Tedesco claimed that he was able to create a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.2.1, iOS 9.3.1 and iOS 9.3.2, all with videos to prove his claims. However, even with a lot of clamoring from the community for him to release the tool, it never happened.

Now that iOS 10 is on the horizon, which the company announced at the recently concluded WWDC 2016, targeting a fall release date, it may take a longer time for the jailbreaking team to create a tool for it. Apple is really trying hard to keep their iOS tight and vulnerability-free, which is already felt in its iOS 9 versions.

Fans can expect more news as the date that team Pangu mentioned approaches.
