iOS 10 jailbreak release date: Pangu still keeping mum as another developer attempts to jailbreak iOS 10.2 beta 3

The wait for the iOS 10 jailbreak from Chinese jailbreak development team Pangu has yet to see no end, giving users the impression that it may never come.

Apple has just released the third beta version of the iOS 10.2. It won't be long before the final version of the software update comes out, but in the midst of all that, Pangu remains silent about the software.

On the other hand, developer ijapija00, who was able to jailbreak iOS 10.1.1 and the second version of the iOS 10.2 beta, appears to be testing an untethered jailbreak for iOS 10.2 beta 3 already.

Like his previous jailbreaks, ijapija00 is not likely to roll out his software to the public for fear that they will damage the devices of those who will use it.

The best chance for jailbreak fans is the iOS 10 jailbreak being developed by Pangu, but the team's radio silence has many worried that it will not see the light of day.

Apple has been moving speedily in updating its firmware. The iOS 10.2 will likely be released fully in two weeks, which means that Pangu needs to move fast in order to get their software out.

Apart from that, the Cupertino-based tech giant has also been adding tweaks that disable jailbreaks installed on a device being updated, making it a lot harder for Pangu to come up with one that will work around that.

There is no word on the status of Pangu's project. It was first rumored that the iOS 10 jailbreak will be released after the iOS 10.1 rolls out, which did not happen.

According to reports, the team is having a hard time putting together the jailbreak software, although it is not entirely unattainable since developers like ijapija00 did it.

Should Pangu release an iOS 10 jailbreak, not many users might be able to take advantage of it as many may have updated their software already.
