iOS 10 jailbreak release date, news: iOS 10.1 is out; iOS 10 jailbreak releasing soon?

Now that Apple's iOS 10.1 update has rolled out, time starts ticking for jailbreak development team Pangu, who is believed to come out with the iOS 10 jailbreak after the software update's release.

Previous reports suggested that Pangu is just simply waiting for the right time to strike and decided against rolling out the iOS 10 jailbreak in the midst of Cupertino's minor updates.

Instead, they reportedly waited until all the minor iOS 10 updates are released to know their way around each of the tweaks Apple employed in each one and create an iOS 10 jailbreak tool from there.

Apple has officially released the iOS 10.1, thus ending the string of iOS 10.0.1 releases. It is expected that Pangu should release their software anytime soon.

However, their silence already has many jailbreak fans worried as it could mean that Apple has managed to impair the group from putting together a working jailbreak tool.

Apple has never been more adamant in ending jailbreaking than it is today. The Cupertino giant has equipped every software update with a tweak that disables jailbreak software running or installed on a device.

A few months back, it also offered a bounty to anyone who can help them find the vulnerabilities of their software, thus allowing the company to patch it before it is exploited.

As fans wait, they should make it a point not to upgrade from the iOS 9 to the iOS 10 as they will not be able to downgrade, thus, losing the chance to jailbreak their device.

With Pangu's silence and Apple's continued efforts, fans are expected to be positive and patient as they wait for the software.

For now, the fact that Italian developer Luca Todesco has a working iOS 10 jailbreak on the beta 8 version shows that jailbreaking is still possible.

Pangu is believed to be hard at work to complete their very own iOS 10 jailbreak. A release date has not been announced yet.
