Indiana Pacers roster news: Paul George Ready and Raring to Go

Paul George is 100% healthy and is ready to spring back to action once the 2015-16 NBA Season opens shop.

It will be recalled that George suffered that forgettable broken leg injury in August of last year during a Team USA scrimmage which put his career momentarily on hold last season. George did manage to return before the NBA regular season ended, a big sigh of relief to his fans and of course the Indiana Pacers.

But his return was apparently hit by another injury, a calf strain, which would have forced him to sit out another 4 to 5 weeks. Had the Pacer advanced to the NBA playoffs, George would have been ruled out once again.

It turned out to be a blessing in disguise when the Pacers failed to advance, providing the Pacers star forward ample time to heal his calf and rest.

George claims that he is 100% ready but unfortunately head coach Frank Vogel does not share the same optimism. Vogel has been known to keep the expectations low for his prized forward and believes that George will still have his work cut out for him as he tries to recall his old deadly form.

But in the end, it would be George and how he performs on the hardwood which will truly exemplify how ready he is for the coming NBA wars. Known for his work ethic, George is expected to return into full form and with a bang once the regular season starts.

George did show shades of his old self when he surprisingly returned towards the end of the playoffs. But much was more off to break him in so that he could get into the groove of things.

But now, everything is for real and George knows it all too well. He is certainly looking pumped up for next season, wanting to make up for his forced absence and help the Pacers rebound from the recently concluded season which saw his team miss the playoffs since the 2009-2010 season.
