The giant technology company, Apple, is releasing a new iMac Pro before the year ends. The company has promised its potential customers a December launch, however, it is reported that some images of the upcoming computer have been leaked online. This has generated a lot more hype among fans, especially with the new features that have already been confirmed by Apple.
In a report by 9To5Mac, the upcoming iMac Pro was featured at the Final Cut Pro X Creative Summit in order to showcase its abilities as well as its aesthetic. The demonstration was mostly for professional video editors, which was one of the main target markets of the product. The color of the iMac that was featured was Space Gray, which will have corresponding Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, as well as the Magic Mouse – all exclusive to the iMac Pro.
There have been reports that Apple is experiencing some delays in shipment for the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. In effect, this has caused more rumors that something better is in store for potential customers in terms of iMac Pro accessories.
According to Apple Insider, Apple could be integrating the new Touch Bar, which is a touchscreen display similar to that of the MacBook Pro. This will allow users easier navigational access in between gadgets. However, it is important to note that details regarding the Touch Bar has not been confirmed yet, but there have been reports that Apple has already applied patents for it.
As for the specs of the iMac Pro, International Business Times has reported that the screen will have dimensions of 27 inches, with 5K resolution display. The desktop will be thin compared to its predecessors, with a total of four Thunderbolt 3 ports, as well 10 GB Ethernet. Most notably, the iMac Pro can be upgraded up to 4 GB of solid state drive internal memory. The processors inside the desktop will be Intel's Xeon, with offerings of 8, 10, and 18 cores.
