The HTC One (M9) is less than a month away from its official unveiling but fans seem to have an idea of what the forthcoming flagship smartphone will look like this early. A new batch of leaks courtesy of an HTC employee has thrown in another insight about the makings of the much-anticipated device.

Chinese social site Weibo has published images of the handset's Dot View case. The sheath that was snapped from the back saves a space for the device's large camera lens, which has been a subject of previous leaks and rumors. The One M9 is rumored to bring in a hefty 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 4-ultrapixel selfie shooter. The Dot View case also has a cutout for the front-facing camera, which is positioned slightly to the right. This, as GSM Arena noted, confirms that the cases in the leaked photos are not of One M9's predecessor, the HTC One M8.

On the other hand, another set of leaked photos reveal that that HTC's One M9 could come gussied up in gold. The back caked in the tasteful color also shows the outsized camera the smartphone will don. A photo from the bunch also shows the mechanism inside of the metal body. According to GSM Arena, the grey morsels as seen in the snap will be used for One M9's wireless antennas.

Lastly, images showing HTC One M9 cases from preeminent manufacturer Otterbox tailored to the structure have also emerged. The cases, which are of the company's Defender and Commuter series, are in black and white with a big cutout for the device's large camera.

HTC is scheduled to reveal the HTC One M9 — which is also rumored to come in two sizes — on March 1, a day ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Taiwan-based tech firm has already sent out invitations to their Utopia in Progress event. Samsung is also expected to stage the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S6 — which has been the subject of rumor mills as frequent as the HTC One M9 — in their own Galaxy Unpacked event set on the same date.
