'GTA Online' update: Casino to open in July?

With fans already done checking out the most recent update for the online version of "Grand Theft Auto V," gamers are now eagerly waiting for the second part of the "Ill-Gotten Gains" update. Confirmation about the second part came from a new post from developer Rockstar Games, which also announced the launch of a new "Welcome to Los Santos" vinyl with original music from "GTA V."

The vinyl will feature popular artists like Little Dragon, Phanogram, Earl Sweatshirt, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe, and Samual T. Herring, and songs that were already launched on the in-game "The Lab" radio station.

With the vinyl's announced release date of June 30, observers expect the upcoming "Ill-Gotten Gains: Part 2" to be launched by the first week of July. Most players are waiting for the update since they have already experienced the first part along with the added content that is a staple of Rockstar Games updates. Now, fans are wondering what new weapons, gears, missions, and rewards are bundled with the second part of the update

Since the next installment seems to be already confirmed, this debunks the rumors about an "Independence Day" DLC. Initial suggestions say that due to the timeframe for the release, and the well-received response to last year's "Independence Day" DLC, Rockstar Games might be doing a July 4 follow-up to last year's update.

One more rumor that is making the rounds online is that "GTA V Online" will open its casinos to players. According to reports, new signs over Los Santos casinos on "GTA Online" have cropped up over the past week, with some signs reading "Opening Next Week," in addition to the "Coming Soon" sign originally placed over the premises. This seems to indicate that an update involving the opening of the casinos, with new gambling-based heists and missions as well as casino mini-games, is getting near.
