'GTA 5' PC release date updates: New trailer clip launches

 Twitter/Rockstar

Rockstar took long before it can release the PC version of the legendary open world, action-adventure video game "GTA V" and it certainly will be worth the wait. Just recently, the game studio announced via Twitter that a trailer for the game will be released Apr. 2.

The best part is that Rockstar has rendered all the action in 1080p running at 60 frames per second, which should make the video a joy to watch apart from it being the first close look of PC players. "GTA V" itself will be at the same resolution when played on the computer.

That should be saying something especially because the Xbox One and PS4 version of the game only displays Lester's exploits and crimes at 30 frames per second. This also makes the PC version heavy. So before getting the game, make sure the computer can handle it.

To give a glimpse of the frame rate's beauty, Rockstar also shared a screenshot that is likely from the upcoming trailer. The image showed bullet casings popping out of an automatic weapon with a burning vehicle as a backdrop.

"GTA V" was first seen by Xbox 360 and PS3 players when it was launched back in 2013. Its PC version is the last to come out and fans had to bear multiple delays. "GTA V" for PC was supposed to be released in January. It was pushed back to March and Rockstar asked to extend it to April.

Now, it looks like there will be no more postponements. Come to think of it, those holdups only made the game look immaculate, or at least that's what the screenshot suggests.

Nevertheless, it is final. "GTA V" for PC will officially be out on Apr. 14. With more music to bring, the game will also support 4K, NVIDIA 3D Vision and Rockstar Editor, which gives access to editing tools that facilitate the publishing of their favorite moments to Social Club and YouTube.

Here is what gamers should keep in mind before playing the game.
