'Grimm' season 5 spoilers: War rises, Trubel returns in episode 2 'Clear and Wesen Danger'

Everyone's favorite Grimm just made his return to the small screen last week (and he has indeed gone off the deep end,) but the action and drama are already far above the ground. In the second "Grimm" season 5 episode ominously titled "Clear and Wesen Danger," a big new threat is on the way.

"They're coming to Portland," Nick is seen saying in the promo of the installment. "It's war," he declared. The dark clip suggests that whatever this sinister thing is Chavez warned about before she died, it's going to end the world as they know it.

Now, Nick and his team race against the clock as the uprising commences. However, they have been warned. "Not even the Grimm can't stop what's coming," a woman warns Nick's group as seen in this "Grimm" season 5 episode promo.

Right now, there's not much known about the new big bad. The detective only refers to these unknown enemies as "them" and until he himself goes face to face with this menacing-sounding group, Nick wouldn't know what they are up against and how he can stop them.

But there could still be hope. In the sneak peek for the upcoming "Grimm" season 5 installment, Trubel, who Nick believes was kidnapped by Chavez's group, shows up all bruised, wounded and weak. While she isn't at top form, fans revel in the fact that she finally showed up.

Could Nick's protégé help shed light on the identity and the intents of the enemy? Every piece of detail is crucial and the war is important for Nick to win, especially now that Adalind finally gave birth to their baby.

Keeping them out of harm's way is his priority but he also feels that Portland's safety is in his hands. With Nick off-kilter, will he succeed? Find out in "Grimm" season 5 episode 2 "Clear and Wesen Danger" airing Nov. 6 on ABC.
