The upcoming video game by Bandai Namco, "God Eater 3," was announced earlier this month, and it has pleasantly surprised fans. The developers have been doing a stellar job of keeping most of the details secret for now, which is why video game critics and fans alike have been working hard to unearth whatever they could find on the internet. Fortunately, the game director, Hiroshi Yoshimura, has shed some light on the game in an interview.

In an interview with Dengeki PlayStation, Yoshimura shared some clues as to what fans can expect from the game. He tried to be as vague as possible in answering the "God Eater 3" related questions, but some of the points he shared were still enlightening. An example of which is that the protagonist will remain pretty much like the previous ones in the "God Eater" games. Players will also be able to fully customize their avatars and even their sex.

In a report by Siliconera, players will also be granted access to new types of weapons that are classified as "two-handed God Arcs," which could potentially be a focal point of interest. The previous "God Eater" games have already given players a wide array of weapons at their disposal. So, the additional equipment will certainly be welcome and appreciated.

Furthermore, the protagonist will mostly have allies throughout the game which is something that already confirms the speculations surrounding the previously released screenshots. Speaking of screenshots, a few of those released show the new Aragami, which are the big baddies of the game. According to Gematsu, the new Aragami will pose a much bigger threat to players than ever before.

Perhaps, they will have stronger attacks and will require more strategy in order to beat. Additionally, the Aragami will have special attacks specifically for God-Arc wielders, which are weapons that the protagonist will be using in the game.

Currently, there is no confirmed release date for "God Eater 3."
