Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and the gang get a shot at stardom in the next episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3, "Girl Meets Hollyworld."
The promo for the installment teases that the lives of the group of friends will be depicted in a film, although they themselves will have to audition.
Riley, Lucas (Peyton Meyer), Zay (Amir Mitchell-Townes) and Farkle (Cory Fogelmanis) are all excited to try out but Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) does not match their enthusiasm, as shown in the "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 17 promo.
There are other hopefuls dressed as Lucas, Zay, and Farkle, looking to play the part while they appear to have a tough time to be themselves in auditioning. Lucas even slipped to his fancy British alter-ego, Mortimer Twigglebottom Smythe.
Riley, on the other hand, was immediately denied to play the role of "Smiley." Maya came with her when they hit the audition room.
The synopsis released for the upcoming episode teases that Maya will be preoccupied with something else entirely, which is getting her mother get a role in the same film.
Maya plots to sabotage another actress so that Katy (Cheryl Texiera) will snag the part, but she would not be all too happy about her daughter's idea.
The "Girl Meets World" writers teased on Twitter that what Maya has in mind is kidnapping the movie star in order for her mother to swoop in and take the role.
This would lead Katy to cause Maya "hurt, pain and humiliation" in the next episode, as per the writers of the series.
"Girl Meets Hollyworld" will be the final episode for the month of November. The next one will be a Christmas special while the final two "Girl Meets World" season 3 will air in January 2017.
A "Girl Meets World" season 4 renewal is yet to be announced so these episodes might be the last of the series altogether.
"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 17, "Girl Meets Hollyworld," airs on Friday, Nov. 25, at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
