GameStop's discount deals for the Black Friday holiday have already been released, and it is apparent that there is no shortage in exciting video game hardware and triple-A titles. The most significant price cuts, however, are reserved for the top consoles especially for the PlayStation 4 Pro as well as the Xbox One S.
In a report by The Verge, one of the best video game bundles that have been announced for GameStop is the Sony PlayStation VR "Gran Turismo Sport" bundle, which will receive a $100 discount from its original price of $399. This is a significant discount, especially since the "Gran Turismo Sport" has only been released recently and is one of the most anticipated games of the year.
The PS4 Pro, on the other hand, will be getting a $50 discount from its original price of $349.99. Additionally, Microsoft is also offering a massive discount for the 500 GB capacity Xbox One S, which will be at $189.99 from its original price of $279.99. As far as consoles go, this is a massive discount and it is safe to assume that this coincides with the release of the Xbox One X.
According to Polygon, some of the triple-A games that will be receiving substantial discounts are "Injustice 2," which will be selling for $14 instead of the usual $50 price tag. The survival horror game, "The Evil Within 2," will be available for $25 from $60, and the recently released "Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus" by Bethesda Softworks, for $25 from $60. "Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus" is a surprising one since it was only released late last month.
These are just some of the most anticipated games of the year whose prices have been cut down to more than half in anticipation of the Black Friday sale. According to Gamespot, a special promo will be given to those who purchase the PS4 with 1 TB memory capacity wherein they will also be receiving a free $50 gift card. This is enough to buy a brand new title or at least two if they purchase during the sale.
