The programming president of HBO, Casey Bloys, may have just slipped and given away a few key details in the highly anticipated upcoming season of "Game of Thrones." Bloys slipped up as he was giving the full details as to why the final season of "Game of Thrones" will not be coming out until 2019.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Bloys was asked about who the fans can expect to be sitting on the coveted Iron Throne at the end of it all, to which Bloys refused to answer, naturally. However, he did reveal that he already knows what is going to tranpsire in the six episodes that will be released next season, and it appears that he could barely contain the exciting details that he needs to keep from the fans of the widely popular show.

Bloys stated, alluding to each episode of the final season, that "They're great. It's fantastic. The fans are going to be very, very happy." Bloys gave a very specific emotion that the conclusion of the series would generate among fans, and that is "happy." From there, it is safe to assume that a fan favorite could end up on the Iron Throne.

As of now, there are no details on the storyline of the final season, but perhaps Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, or Daenerys Stormborn, played by Emilia Clarke, could end up as the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms -- and most possibly, beyond.

During the interview, Bloys also revealed that prequels for "Game of Thrones" are also down the pipeline, but are not to be released at least a full year after the show's concluding episode. Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) stated during an interview that the whole team behind the show, cast, and writers, are feeling enormous pressure to deliver a satisfying ending for the long-running series.

"Game of Thrones" season 8 will return sometime in 2019.
