Jon Snow is in the face of another conflict in this week's "Game of Thrones." Episode 7 titled "The Gift" will follow his expedition to gather and sway the Wildlings to the south of the Wall as part of empowering and strengthening his troop in time for the arrival of the White Walkers.
However, the Wildlings' alliance to him is not promised and the new episode will reveal whether or not Jon will manage to persuade the battalion to work with him. While on the subject of armies, Stannis pursues on taking over Winterfell with his despite their unpreparedness.
This is, in part, to deliver to the expectations of him being ever so bolshie as many would expect and for the most part, this is about bring the Boltons down, claiming Winterfell from them and eventually taking over the Iron Throne. He does this with Melisandre and Davos Seaworth by his side.
Meanwhile, the upcoming "Game of Thrones" episode will also follow Jaime as he "attempts to reconnect with family." In the last episode of the series, he is seen rescuing Myrcelle, eventually taking her away from Trystan, whom she learned to love.
Promotional photos show Jaime's struggles (he had to give in to the Dorne guards and Myrcelle was captured by Nymeria) before he finally gets the chance to get a decent conversation with her daughter/niece.
Meanwhile, Sansa plans her escape and turns to a pained Theon, who was forced to watch Ramsay rape Sansa, who agreed to become the Bolton psychopath's wife the same fateful, unfortunate night. Theon is full of regret and it is hard to imagine how their conversation will go down.
Although it remains to be seen if Sansa will ever be successful to escape the clutches of Ramsay, "Game of Thrones" fans hope for the best. Sansa needs justice for the unspeakable act she had to go through.
The rest of the promo snaps reveal Olenna Tyrell's attempt to save her grandchildren from the High Sparrow and the Faith Militant. Also, Melty suggests the possibility of a new wedding. This time, it may be that of Daenerys and Hizdahr zo Loraq.
"Game of Thrones" season 5 episode 7 "The Gift" will air May 24 on HBO. Alternatively, it can be watched online through live stream with HBO GO.
