"Frozen 2" is official. Last month, the highly-anticipated film became a real deal after it bounced around the Internet as nothing more than a rumor that was bound to come true at some point. Now, the next to ponder is how things in the sequel to the insanely-loved 2013 flick "Frozen" will go down.
It is still unknown what sort of crazy event will challenge Anna and Elsa's bond, which was proven to be strong in the first movie. According to reports, "Frozen 2" will introduce a new female villain. Unfortunately, there is no further detail available about this claim but this is possible. Besides, with the plans of evil Prince Hans foiled in the first movie, viewers may have seen the end of the power-hungry trickster.
However, some reports are claiming he will be back along with an attitude transformation. Some say that Hans will find his way back to Arendelle, not to continue his dark plans but to actually help Elsa and Anna with the troubles that will befall them in "Frozen 2." Speculations go so far as to claim that the ice princess will eventually be paired up with the new Hans, who is said to prove and show he's changed by flinging himself to danger to save the kingdom.
Others think the opposite, believing that Hans will stop at nothing to be king and all that will show in "Frozen 2." After all, he has already proven how good he is at deception when he made Anna fall in love in mere minutes.
While the prince's return in "Frozen 2" is still up in the air, it is already confirmed that Idina Menzel will be back as Elsa and Josh Gad as the adorable snowman Olaf. Also, Kristen Bell looks like she is up for another round of being a Disney princess.
Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will share the director's seat once more for "Frozen 2" while Peter Del Vecho will be producing it. Release date info is still inaccessible but considering that "Frozen" was a two-year project, Disney will likely take the same amount of time or more for "Frozen 2." This brings it to a possible 2018 premiere.
