Xbox Japan inadvertently published a flurry of information regarding the highly-anticipated racing game "Forza Motorsport 6," which is supposed to be showcased at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 convention next week.
Although the subsidiary was quick to delete the screenshots and the rich gameplay details it published on its site, media outlets and fans were quicker to save some copies. The breadth of the untimely reveal starts with the revelation that 450 fully customizable cars are included in the title.
From the day of the launch to the final expansion pack for "Forza Motorsport 6," players will be able to get behind the wheel of nearly 500 roadsters, which is more than double the number of cars in the previous title, all with working cockpits and full damage modeling. This is, presumably, game developer Turn 10 Studios heeding the plea of its patrons for more content.
Xbox Japan said that gamers will be able to do some night racing, too, and will encounter what it called 3D puddles and changing weather. There will be 26 "world-famous" real world-inspired locations to drive through, including Daytona and Rio. Furthermore, the game will boast two-player split screen and will allow 24-player racing, more than "Forza Motorsport 5's" 16.
There were three screenshots provided in the Xbox Japan website that ultimately serve as the studio's proof that the installment will run in 1080p at 60 frames per second. The site wrote 50 fps but media outlets believe it was a typo seeing that Daytona was misspelled in the site as well.
Drivatar is also making its way back to the title, which is perfect for the upsurge of mainly everything in the game.
More solid details about "Forza Motorsport 6" are expected to be disclosed at the E3 2015 event, to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 16 to 18. The game is believed to come out in fall this year.
