For God's Glory

...those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Romans 8:29-30

...to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever!
Romans 16:27

'Soli Deo Gloria', is a famous quote in Christianity, which has behind it a deep confession.

The Reformer John Calvin used it at the at the end of his Institutes of the Christian Religion, "To God alone be the glory."

Apostle Paul also used it at the end of his letter.

In essence...

"To God alone, who teaches us and strengthens us, who foreknew us, who knows us, who loves us...to Him, be the glory forever!"

Let us meditate on the meaning of this on this day, and try and return the glory of our lives back to God.
