Floyd Mayweather vs Amir Khan or Kell Brook fight news 2015: Which boxer will get super fight?

The only thing sure right now is that Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be fighting this coming September.

The unsure thing is who he will fight and of course the question on whether it would indeed be his last fight.

Amir Khan, who recently defeated Chris Algieri, has been long rumored to be next in line and possibly the last fighter that Mayweather would face before retiring.

Khan claims that the manager of the unbeaten American boxer, Leonard Ellerbe, had approached him after the May 2 match to get it on this coming September and practically everyone is expecting that to happen.

That was before Khan reportedly said that he may not be able to make the September 12 fight since he would have insufficient time to train.

Khan needs at least three months to prepare but due to his obligatory participation in the annual Muslim holiday of Ramadan, the earliest date he could get back in the ring could be October.

At least that was the initial reason. But now, Khan is singing a different tune saying that he may be able to make it after all with Ramadan happening a bit earlier this year. Despite all that, Khan bares that Mayweather has assured him that he was at the top of the list.

But now, Kell Brook has entered the scene and is batting that it should he who Mayweather should face.

Brook had original set his sights at possibly facing Khan but seems to have diverted his attention to Mayweather which proves to be a more lucrative deal.

Brook is undefeated in 35 fights and rants that it should be him fighting Mayweather and not Khan.

Though Mayweather has not reacted to Brook's statement, the only thing clear now is that Khan's place at the top of the list could be seriously threatened.

Knowing Mayweather, he will want the date where he is best comfortable which could now become a problem for Khan.
