Square Enix will put out downloadable content or DLC for "Final Fantasy 15," and game director Hajime Tabata promises that fans will enjoy value for their money with these releases.

At the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2016, Tabata revealed to Hardcore Gamer that it is too early for DLC specifics, but he did note that the post-launch content coming to the game will expand it in a big way.

"Our overarching plan is confirmed in that we do want to place focus on each of the characters, not only in the episode, but making sure that their personality comes through in the gameplay as well," Tabata said.

"So that plan, overarching plan is confirmed, so we are confident to say the DLC content that we will be pushing out will be extremely valuable and our consumers will find value in what we offer," he went on to say.

There will be six expansion packs that will be included in the "Final Fantasy 15" Season Pass. Half of them are mission content with working titles "Episode Gladio," "Episode Ignis," and "Episode Prompto."

Two appear to be in-game packs labelled "Booster Pack" and "Holiday Pack." The final "Final Fantasy 15" DLC in the Season Pass is only referred to as "Expansion Pack."

A few weeks back, Tabata also implied during an interview with Famitsu (via Gematsu) that there might be DLCs outside of the Season Pass, although this is yet to be finalized.

During that chat, the "Final Fantasy 15" director teased that more costume and cooking items might be added to the game through these additional DLCs if they will push through with them.

Tabata also said during his TGS interview that the "Final Fantasy 15" film, "Kingsglaive," and the anime "Brotherhood" will be integrated into the game in a way that gives players more understanding of the story.

He explained that the movie "is something that communicates and gives people a sense of the universe of Final Fantasy 15 prior to launch of the game" while the anime series "gives you a deeper understanding and a greater understanding for the characters."

"Final Fantasy 15" will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 29
