"Fear the Walking Dead" season 1 ends with the dead taking over the city. The finale, titled "The Good Man," will air on AMC later at 9 p.m. EDT. Viewers will see Travis and Madison do everything in their power just to keep their families out of harm's way.

With the flesh-eaters growing in number and the National Guard taking the future of mankind into their own hands, no one is safe whether they are in or out of the walled city. What could Travis and Madison possibly do to save their loved ones?

Robert Blades, who plays Daniel in "Fear the Walking Dead," explained what could happen in the finale. Blades -- whose character discovered that everyone, infected or not is, being put in an auditorium by the National Guard -- explained what Daniel, as well as Travis and Madison given their current state, will be able to do.

"What he's [Daniel] doing right now is he's creating a plan to create the type of opportunity for them to do something, given the fact that Travis has been very passive at this point. Travis is changing gradually, but he's still sort of holding on to the notion that there's some order. That the army represents some form of order," the actor told Yahoo.

"Whereas Madison has already given up on that, from the moment they took Nick. Right now, the thing is to figure out how to rescue the people [the military] has taken," he went on to say.

It is surmised that a key character may be infested with the virus in the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 1 finale. As per Wall Street Journal, the likeliest person would be Nick, who the National Guard threw into their make-shift prison.

The site reasons that the heroin addict is weak enough to be easily consumed by the zombie apocalypse, which, as fans may have already realized, often preys on the feeble. Nick, who remains loyal to his old life, will be too frail to adjust to the new reality in front of him.

"Fear the Walking Dead" airs today, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m. on AMC. Fans can also tune in to a live stream on AMC TV or iTunes.

Fans will have to wait until 2016 to watch season 2 of "Fear the Walking Dead", which will comprise of 15 episodes.
