Fast and Furious 7 production, July 2014 release date on hold after Paul Walker's death; "Hours" starring actor to air Dec. 13

Paul Walker was in the middle of filming the 7<sup>th installment of the Fast and the Furious movie franchise when he died suddenly in a violent car crash on Nov. 30.

It has been confirmed that the Fast and Furious 7 will continue after the death of Walker, who had filmed most of the movie.

Neal Moritz, producer of the Fast and the Furious series, told TMZ that the movie is currently on hold as they mourn Walker's death. The film was scheduled to resume shooting this week, but producers and executives have to decide what will happen to Walker's character Brian O'Conner in the movie.

The production of the movie which was set to be released in July 2014 is most likely to be delayed, and there are no plans to abandon the film.

Meanwhile, producers have decided to release Walker's film based on Hurricane Katrina on Dec. 13. The drama is called 'Hours'. Producer Paul Presburger, CEO of Pantelion films, said, "After lots of back and forth, this is our decision. It's Paul's tour de force. He's in ever frame of the movie."

Producer Peter Safran told the Hollywood Reporter: "Hours embodies a message that was so important to him, which is that you have to do everything you can to keep friends and family safe.

"Paul would have very much wanted us to move forward. He was incredibly proud of this project. We did a press junket two weeks ago, and I remember sitting with him and how excited he was for people to see this movie. He really looked to this movie to show people that he is an actor."

"Hours" will be aired in 15 cities across the U.S. on Dec. 13. The movie also stars Genesis Rodriquez.
