'Far Cry 4' errors: Game experiences early fatal error in PlayStation 3

It seems like "Far Cry 4" did not have a trouble-free debut, as PlayStation 3 players encountered a fatal error that bars them from enjoying the highly anticipated game.

After its release on Nov. 18 across consoles and PC, Ubisoft's latest open-world shooter game found several errors in Sony's last-generation console.  Reports claim that players experience problems when connecting to the game's servers.

One of the common complaints by users is the difficulty in finding matches when trying to play PvP matches. There are also reports saying that those who actually manage to find a match get disconnected easily. But the worst problem experienced by PS3 users is their inability to load the game.

Although Ubisoft had been informed about the huge PS3 problem, the developer has yet to offer a solution to fix the bug. At the moment, they simply opened a forum on its website so that the players can discuss it among themselves.

"We are currently investigating the error message that some players are receiving when attempting to play Far Cry 4 on the Playstation 3 (receiving a "corrupt data" data error message for Far Cry 3). To further track this issue, we're asking all players to SUBMIT A SUPPORT TICKET," the developer wrote in the forum.

The game developer speculates that the PS3 error might be caused by previous "Far Cry 3" saved data. However, some players claim that they still experience the same error even if they have no saved "Far Cry 3" data in their PS3. On the other hand, other players are pointing out that the "Far Cry 4" 1.01 patch should be blamed for the fatal issue.

Today, Ubisoft announced via its Twitter account that the services and online multiplayer is now back and running online. Still, the PlayStation3 bug for "Far Cry 4" is left unaddressed as of the moment.
