'Fallout 4' PS4 update: update to Creation Kit enables support for mods

Bethesda Game Studios has rolled out an update for "Fallout 4" to add support for the PlayStation 4 mods fans have been waiting for since June.

"We're happy to announce Fallout 4's Creation Kit is updated today to support mods on PS4. Go to your Bethesda.net Launcher to update your Creation Kit," Bethesda wrote on its blog.

Creators wasted no time in bringing their "Fallout 4" mods over to the PS4 following the announcement, so, at this time, players can now add these mods to their library.

It won't be long before gamers get to fully enjoy the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods with the update 1.18 for PC now out and the one for the Xbox One and PS4 already in certification.

VG247 believes that process will not take a while and that the PS4 mods could be fully functional this week, which suggests that fans won't have to wait longer.

Some of the fixes included in the update 1.8 are for the issues with the sound effects after reloading in an area, an occasional crash when launching a new game or returning to the main menu.

The majority of the tweaks, however, focus on the "Fallout 4" mods. It is safe to say that when it drops on the PS4, it will activate the mods completely.

For the first time, it seems that PS4 gamers are close to getting the sought after feature, which was expected to come out in summer, but Sony decided against it due to the nature of the feature, which basically allows gamers to do anything in the game.

Bethesda promised they will find a way to bring the "Fallout 4" mods in some way, shape or form to the PS4, and they came through early last month.

This brings gamers at this moment, where they are practically just days away from enjoying the feature they have been waiting for months.
