'Expendable 4' movie cast, spoilers: Pierce Brosnan, Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Jackie Chan?

There has been a wealth of rumors suggesting the fate of the upcoming ensemble action film "Expendables 4." However, there is little to no solid information about the upcoming movie. Sylvester Stallone has announced its existence but there are still many elements to fill in, one of which is the casting.

Rumor mills have been crazily chomping details for this one and revealed a few big names in the industry that might make it to the action-packed film. The first celebrity being dragged in "Expendables 4" is "The November Man" star Pierce Brosnan. The 61-year-old Irish actor is said to be perfect for a slot in another full-blown action-filled operation although his participation is yet to be substantiated.

"Expendables 4" could also use the famous acrobatic fighting style of Chinese actor Jackie Chan who is famous for his breathtaking stunts. However, Venture Capital Post said that the martial artist has his hands full at the moment. Franchise Herald added that Chan is proposing a film which stars only him and Stallone as "Expendables 4," which includes a pack of actors, may not work out.

There are also rumors that wrestling legends Hulk Hogan and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will take on the role of the antagonists in the forthcoming movie. According to Franchise Herald, the former is already filming in Bulgaria. The latter, on the other hand, is more of a product of wishful thinking. Other outrageous surmises for the casting include Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise. The names of Hugh Jackman, Kevin Costner, Denzel Washington, Liam Neeson, Vin Diesel, Mark Walhberg, Steven Seagal and John Cusack are also being dropped.

Stallone reportedly intends to decrease the amount of violent scenes in the movie so that it can cater to a larger audience. "Expendables 3" was rated PG-13 when it arrived in theaters and, in turn, lost a huge chunk of viewers. Although the actor is busy with "Rambo 5: Last Blood" and "Creed," the purported premiere of "Expendables 4" still stands at 2016.
