Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova news: Couple posts photos of newborn twins on social media

Spanish singer and songwriter Enrique Iglesias and his wife, Russian tennis player Anna Kournikova, are now proud parents. In fact, they have publicly shared the pictures of their twins, who are now the focus of the public's adoration.

As reported by Entertainment Tonight, Iglesias and Kournikova revealed their fraternal twins, with their son named Nicholas and their daughter named Lucy. Both parents shared each of their twins on their personal Instagram pages, both identically captioned "My sunshine," alluding to their newborn children. Both pictures seem to be taken from their private home, and appear to be very candid with very little editing done on them.

However, in the pictures of Kournikova and Iglesias, it is unclear which baby is which. At this point it is still difficult to tell since they are only about a month old, but both of them look very healthy and happy in each photo.

Kournikova birthed the twins just last month, during the middle of December. Iglesias and Kournikova have been very careful, keeping a very low public profile during the whole duration of the pregnancy. In fact, some of their relatives and close personal friends did not even know about Kournikova's pregnancy. Naturally, the news of Kournikova giving birth came as a surprise to everyone, since not many people knew that she had been expecting in the first place.

As it appears, the couple could not be happier with their offspring, and have decided to publicly share the news and baby pictures for all the world to see -- after all, the two have been together for 16 years now. Fortunately for Nicholas and Lucy, their parents have prepared adequately for them, since they spent a significant sum of money to fully baby proof their entire house for their safety.

The new parents have been together since 2001, and met during one of Iglesias' music video shoots. Ever since, the two have been a very private couple, rarely ever commenting on their relationship status through the years.
