The Fox television show, "Empire," has just released its exciting sixth episode, which aired on Nov. 15. However, the show will be taking a break from its weekly schedule, and will be making its audiences and fans wait two weeks before the premiere of episode 7. This leaves fans more than enough time to assess the events of the last episode, as well as make their own speculation on what may happen in the upcoming seventh episode.
In a report by CarterMatt, the show's creators decided not to air the seventh episode next week due to the possible disastrous drop in ratings because of the Thanksgiving holiday. This is possibly a smart move for the showrunners, since the plot in the fourth season is just about to get very interesting — especially Eddie Baker, who is played by Forest Whitaker, as his artists are about to call a strike against the production as they feel "overworked."
This causes Cookie Lyon, played by Taraji P. Henson, to try and solve the issue. Meanwhile, Lucious Lyon, played by Terence Howard, may just be making a terrible mistake by deciding to broker a deal on behalf of Hakeen Lyon, who is played by Bryshere Y. Gray. It appears that the music power couple will have their hands full, and audiences will get to see just that in two weeks' time.
As reported by Spoilers Guide, not all of the events for episode 7 will be tense and gloomy, since Jamal Lyon, played by Jussie Smollett, and Andre Lyon, played by Trai Byers, will be experiencing the evolution of their love for their respective significant others in the upcoming episode. Unfortunately for them, their love interests both have some dark secrets, which may eventually culminate in a bitter ending for both Jamal and Andre.
Episode 7 will definitely be anticipated by fans. It was previously stated by the Huffington Post that the previous episode is one of the "strongest" episodes in the series thus far, in terms of the story. It seems that the show has decided to pick up the pace, not only with Lucious and Cookie's story's but everyone else's as well.
"Empire" season 4 episode 7 will be released on Nov. 29 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
