The year 2015 is going to be a big one for both games and movies and it might be the biggest yet for "Dragon Ball" fanatics! There's the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" set to be released in February next year and the "Dragon Ball Z" manga, which is said to be continued next year as well, as per Kpop Starz.

The latest addition to the list of DBZ goodies is a hot and a spanking new "Dragon Ball" film, which is scheduled for a spring release. While many may still be not over the most recent of the franchise, the 2013 "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods," they already need to gear up for "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F" and they can do so with uncontained delight as this movie is going to be nothing but gripping.

As Anime News Network revealed, "Fukkatsu" translates to resurrection and the "F" in the title, as IGN pointed out, stands for Frieza. Every DBZ fan who closely watched the action in the DBZ cosmos knows that the guy is already a goner and that he met his doom in Planet Namek in the hands of a Super Saiyan Goku. Although his demise was a pretty convincing one, iDigital Times revealed that Frieza's father is the one responsible for the rebirth, as he rebuilt his son using cybernetics after stumbling upon his lifeless body in space. Sure enough, the return of this powerful foe is looming.

Shueisha's V Jump magazine published in its January 2015 issue a promotional image for the film that gave away more about its depths. Apparently, "Battle of Gods" antagonist Beerus will come back. Immediately, fans can imagine the God of Destruction and the revived rival come together.

The magazine also included a synopsis for the film which reads, "An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for 'egg') arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the 'F' that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived...!"

Japanese animator and character designer Tadayoshi Yamamuro will sit on the director's chair. He will team up with "Dragon Ball Z" creator Akira Toriyama, who took on the screenplay, concept and character design duties for the film. As per IGN, "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F" will be released in Japan both in 2D and 3D on April 18, 2015.
