'Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F' movie cast news: Momoiro Clover Z joins voice cast

Members of Japanese idol group Momoiro Clover Z will be guest voice actors in the highly-anticipated anime film "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F." All five members of the group will lend their voices to the angels in hell, where Frieza is in hiding. Just as each member designates a certain color as her theme, the angels in the anime will also be seen with the same corresponding color, so fans will not have a hard time figuring out which angel is their favorite member of the group. Momoiro Clover Z's participation in the film is not limited to that though. According to Latinos Post, the group that is also fondly called Momoclo will also take care of the theme song of "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F."

The movie marks the return of one of the biggest villains of the cult-favorite hero Goku. His death in the hands of Super Saiyan Goku was apparently not the end of his evil ways. The resurrected baddie is now of powerful cybernetics make (thanks to his father), which should make him much more difficult to defeat. There is nothing more menacing than a half-mechanoid thirsty for vengeance. Or maybe there is.

Apparently, Frieza is not the only problem Goku has to deal with. "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" major antagonist Beerus is also coming to get the indomitable hero. The God of Destruction will let his obsessive hothead self do the work in wreaking havoc and provoking all his nemeses for another duel. Goku will certainly have his hands full in "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F" so fans should prepare for an insanely action-packed flick.

Creator Akira Tomiyama, however, is shying away from the serious tone the previous "Dragon Ball Z" movies took. According to Crossmap, Tomiyama is planning to make "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F" a bit of a comical one. How he will pull that off remains a big mystery.

The only thing left to do for now is wait until "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F" lands in Japan theaters in 2D and 3D on April 18 this year. And for the first time, the movie will also be screened in IMAX 3D in selected 18 IMAX digital theaters across Japan.
