As the Future Trunks arc continues in "Dragon Ball Super," fans will learn that Zamasu, being one of the most challenging foes the heroes have come across, will be difficult to get rid of.

Although the episode won't be aired until next month, there are already details about "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60, "To the Future Once again, Goku Black's identity revealed."

This "Dragon Ball Super" installment will immediately follow the events of episode 59, which will see Zamasu kill his Kai master Gowasu by poisoning him.

This would explain why Zamasu has the Potara earrings and the Time Ring, two things that only Supreme Kais are allowed to have. Him still being a Kai in training suggests that he obtained them by taking a shortcut.

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60, Beerus will not think twice in killing present Zamasu to prevent his rise to power and the death of many caused by his evil reign.

It is unclear if Zamasu will be killed immediately or if a battle will ensue between the two first. What's certain is that in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60, Zamasu will meet his demise.

However, his death may be to no purpose. The synopsis for episode 60 suggests that an unconvinced Future Trunks will return to his timeline to see if the death of Zamasu prevented the string of heinous crimes he will eventually do.

As per speculations, it is likely that Zamasu stays alive and untouched in the future. It is said that this may be because he came from a different dimension while the one that Beerus killed in the present time belongs to another dimension.

This means that Zamasu from the horrible future and the Zamasu who will taste the wrath of Beerus in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60 are not connected and are two different beings.

That being said, the world is still in danger, and the situation might have been worsened. The fact that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 will reveal the grand plan of immortal Zamasu suggests that he is not going anywhere.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 60, titled "To the Future Once again, Goku Black's identity revealed," airs on Sunday, Oct. 2, on Fuji TV.
