While BioWare gears up for the Nov. 18 release of "Dragon Age: Inquisition," its publisher, Electronic Arts, will put another familiar game in the spotlight with an offer of a lifetime.

"Dragon Age: Origins" can be downloaded for free on PC from its website, right this instant. With an Origin ID, one can download and install the game, and keep it for good without spending a cent. The generous offer lasts up to Oct. 14 only, so users might want to take some last minute advantage of the offer before it ends. There's no catch. It's just for everybody to enjoy the first of BioWare's fantasy series.

"Our goal is to provide a great gaming experience and a way to discover awesome new games. Having a game in your library, for free, is a fantastic way to see what Origin is all about," EA promises.

"Dragon Age: Origins" was a successful BioWare make released in 2009. It received great feedback from its users, having sold over 3.2 million copies within two months after it hit the market.

The free game download offer for the game may be the company's penultimate stunt this year, with the rollout of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" being the last. The new video game is the 2011 Dragon Age II's successor. Bioware aims for a strong welcome upon its launch on Xbox One, XBox 360, PS3, PS4, and PC on Nov. 18.

Its creator, BioWare is a reputable game titan which produced popular video games such as "Baldur's Gate," "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic," and, the most recent, "Mass Effect."  The company is also expected to announce a future "Mass Effect 4," slated to be unveiled after the "Dragon Age: Inquisition" release. A new installment for the "Mass Effect" franchise is expected to be released next year.
