"DOOM" fans will experience the game's first premium DLC pack when it is released on Aug. 5. The multiplayer pack will feature three new multiplayer maps, a pistol and a few more.

Marty Stratton, executive producer of "DOOM," announced recently that Cataclysm, Ritual and Offering are the new multiplayer maps coming to the game. There will be a playable demon called "The Harvester," which possesses a set of damaging attacks and a new UAC EMG Mark V Pistol. Additionally, it will also bring in a Kinetic Mine equipment, a new set of armor with a personalization option, hack modules and several more.

"Unto the Evil" DLC will also feature PartyPlay. This will allow other players to experience the new maps even without purchasing the multiplayer expansion pack. The only requirement is they team up with a player who owns the DLC.

"Want to play the DLC maps, but don't own Unto the Evil or the Season Pass? Party up with another player who has purchased the DLC, and you can play the new maps! If a DLC map comes up as part of the rotation, you and your party can play just as you have with the game's original multiplayers maps. Conversely, if you have purchased the premium DLC pack, anyone in your party can play any of the maps from the DLC as long as they're with you," the DLC is described by Bethesda on its Steam page.

Also, last July 29, Bethesda, the game publisher, released Free Update 2, which rolled out two new multiplayer modes, Exodus and Sector. It also contain new tools that will let its players customize the function of their weapon wheel, as well as three Hell-themed modules, a playable demon called Mancubus and several improvements to the game.

"DOOM: Unto the Evil" DLC will roll out on Aug. 5 and will be available for US$14.99. The game can be played on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
