Donald Trump reveals 2017 Fake News Awards

President Donald Trump has finally revealed his list of 2017 Fake News Awards. The list includes some of the biggest media companies not only in the United States but in the whole world.

The article list was published through the Republican National Committee's official website. The list opens with, "2017 was a year of unrelenting bias, unfair news coverage, and even downright fake news. Studies have shown that over 90% of the media's coverage of President Trump is negative."

There are a total of 11 news items on the awards list starting with The New York Times. Paul Krugman was the first journalist to be named on the list for his report about Trump's victory for the presidential sit means trouble for the country's economy. The Times received two awards, one for the Krugman report and one for the front-page story about Trump's administration hiding a climate report.

The media giant CNN received four awards. First was for its story about Trump and his son Donald J. Trump Jr. having access to hacked documents from WikiLeaks. Next is the edited video of Trump overfeeding fish when he visited Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The false reports about Anthony Scaramucci's Russian meeting and involving former FBI Director James Comey are also among the winners.

The TIME report about Trump removing Martin Luther King Jr. from the oval office is also deemed false therefore earning an award. The Washington Post, Newsweek, and ABC are also recipients of the 2017 Fake News Awards. The list is completed by the "Russia Collusion" described as "perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people."

After all 11 awardees, the report then proceeds with listing Trump's biggest achievements as President, including economy boost, low unemployment rate, and more.

The 2017 Fake News Awards quickly generated to serious backlash from the public and even from one of Trump's colleagues in his own party. Former Press Secretary for the Republican National Committee Alex Conant took it to Twitter to share his opinion about the awards. "10 years ago I was press secretary for @GOP. Lots of good people working there today. I'm working hard to help them elect Republicans in 2018. But these tactics by @realDonaldTrump are not helpful to anybody except Chuck & Nancy" he tweeted.

Trump did not respond to Conant's tweet, but he did tweet this, "Despite some very corrupt and dishonest media coverage, there are many great reporters I respect and lots of GOOD NEWS for the American people to be proud of."
