On Nov. 7, Microsoft released a more powerful and updated version for their video game console, the Xbox One X. Given that the release of the Xbox One X was not tied to a graphically demanding and highly-anticipated triple a video game, video game critics and fans alike have been wondering on whether purchasing it would be a smart choice. However, it has been reported recently that the popular online game "Destiny 2" will be supporting the new console.

In a report by Gaming Bolt, it has been confirmed that Bungie's popular online video game "Destiny 2" will be supported by the Xbox One X. With "Destiny 2" being already dubbed as a graphically superior game, a patch specifically for the Xbox One X will mean that players will be getting a chance to experience the game with much better resolution, and quite possibly, high dynamic range support.

At this point, it has been the consensus that the PC version of the game offers the best in-game player experience. It is important to point out, however, that no confirmation has been made by either Microsoft or Bungie regarding what new features will be present for the Xbox One X version of "Destiny 2."

According to Inquisitr, it has been a mystery recently as to why "Destiny 2" has been late in confirming an Xbox One X update, especially since an estimated 70 titles have already confirmed that enhancements will be made for their games to maximize the processing power of the new console.

It is safe to assume that the developers at Bungie are currently busy addressing players' concerns about the game, which have been numerous and alluding to crucial aspects of the game. Heavy has stated that "the early returns are good," referring to the sales of Xbox One X updated video games. It seems that Microsoft's marketing has been doing quite decently despite the doubts of some critics prior to the console's launch.

"Destiny 2" executive, Mark Noseworthy has explained that it is Bungie's priority to make sure that the game is all that it can be before worrying about the technical elements of it. After all, frames per second and resolution do not necessarily equate to a good title.
