Fans will have to wait a little longer to be able to play "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" on their PC, which was initially slated to launch this month. Team Ninja pushed the release date from Feb. 16 all the way to March 30. To compensate for its one-and-a-half-month delay, publisher Koei Tecmo will give away the Halloween 2013 set that consists of 28 costumes to buyers of the fighting game on Steam and, of course, that's free of charge.

The holdup for "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" for PC roots from the game studio's effort to give players "the best experience possible." According to GameSpot, Koei Tecmo also noted that the online components of the game will come three months after the game's release on Steam, sticking to its statement back in December that online modes will not be tagging along on the day of the launch.

"Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" is set two years after the events in "Dead or Alive 4." The forthcoming installment boasts dramatically improved graphics and visual styles as well as brand new gameplay mechanics and stages on current-gen consoles all for the optimal "Dead or Alive" fighting experience. Team Ninja also has a wealth of content on the cards.

The roster consists of 34 characters, the biggest lineup in all of the "Dead or Alive" franchise. Among these are two new completely different combatants, Hanoko and Raidou. The former is a pretty teenage girl who is a menacing fighter on the arena and a charmer outside of it. The latter, on the other hand, is dubbed as "the regeneration of brutality" and for a good reason, too. His death on the first "Dead or Alive" installment was not the end of the atrocious creature, who is made meaner and more dangerous, thanks to his new and intimidating cybernetic build care of Donovan.

The launch of the game on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 remains on Feb. 17. Gamers can pre-order the game for PS4 on Xbox One as early as today.
