What began as a marriage of convenience between Andre DiMera and Kate will turn into real romance in the Jan. 18, Thursday, episode of "Days of Our Lives."

After hours of pondering, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) is finally confessing his love for his wife Kate (Lauren Koslow). He will tell her he wants more than an emotionless marriage, and looks like he is going to give her a very convincing speech because she will accept his confession.

For the first time in their marriage, they are going to spend some intimate and genuine time together. Andre would want to make the most of it, because he knows it might not last long. One wrong move and he could lose everything.

Kate does not know Andre is living a double life. His insatiable thirst for power is still making him want DiMera Enterprises for himself. He is working with Vivian (Louis Sorel) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) to reach his goals.

But Vivian, who seems to be on the same side as his, is actually working with him just to keep him in check. She has made sure all her bases are covered so they will not get caught. However, it seems as if there is no stopping John (Drake Hogestyn) and Chad (Billy Flynn) from getting closer to the truth. This would make Vivian nervous, and she would do anything to throw them off.

Meantime, Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is having way too much fun taunting Abigail (Marci Miller). He insists there is something going on between her husband Chad and her best friend Gabi (Camila Banus). She wants to trust them, but she also could not get the image of them hugging each other off her mind.

Gabi is on Cloud 9, what with the success of Gabi Chic at DiMera and her blossoming relationship with Eli (Lamon Archey). But according to spoilers, she will be dealt with a devastating blow. Could it be about her love life? Her business? Or would it be about something else?

Find out as "Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays, 1 p.m. EDT, on NBC.
