'Dance Moms' season 7 cast news: Jojo Siwa absent as she focuses on other projects

Jojo Siwa appears to have not attended the production for "Dance Moms" season 7 so far, but she has kept herself busy with tons of projects.

The 14-year-old dance superstar has been updating her YouTube channel. In fact, she collaborated with YouTube superstar Miranda Sings (real name Colleen Ballinger) for her latest video.

All the time she missed "Dance Moms" season 7 filming, Siwa was also busy promoting her bow collection and starring in a Nickelodeon Halloween special. She also did a project with Radio Disney a few weeks ago.

It looks like Siwa has been a very busy girl, and this could be why she has not set foot the "Dance Moms" season 7 set. The first five episodes of the new season are already wrapped up.

Fans are starting to wonder whether she will be part of the new season or if she will follow Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler out of the reality series.

Siwa has yet to address her absence in the first "Dance Moms" season 7 episodes. It is also unclear if she will still eventually take part in the show.

Dance coach Abby Lee Miller has this covered with three new stars for the new season. She has picked out a crop of talented auditionees to bulk up the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC).

Talented 14-year-olds Camryn Bridges and Daviana Fletcher will debut early in "Dance Moms" season 7, while 11-year-old Maesi Caes will show her moves in episode 5.

Miller definitely did not go wrong with bringing in these three new stars as they proved their skills by helping ALDC dominate the competitions they joined so far this season.

As for Siwa, losing her in "Dance Moms" season 7 might decrease the show's appeal as she is one of the favorites on the show. It's also bad timing as it follows the exit of the Zieglers.

"Dance Moms" season 7 will premiere next year on Lifetime.
