Cowboys vs Packers: Are the Packers Indestructible?

In what many deem as a rematch of the classic "Ice Bowl" back in 1967, the Green Bay Packers host the unpredictable Dallas Cowboys in the battle of two teams boasting of best offensive socks for the NFC divisional playoffs.

All eyes will be on two of the NFL's best quarterbacks at the moment, Tony Romo of the Cowboys and Aaron Rodgers of the Packers. And like the Seahawks, the Packers will have a slight edge with the match set at the Lambeau Field.

For the Packers, it will be their sixth straight playoff appearance with Rodgers at lead. Though the season was not exactly a perfect one for the Packers, they are the obvious choice to come out as victors.

However, don't expect Tony Romo and the Cowboys to give in that easy. Romo has been hit by criticism and such is expected to continue going into Sunday's matchup. And probably the best way to silence his critics and prove once and for all why is one of the best in the game today is to help the Cowboys pull one over the Packers.

And one thing that could swing to his favor is that Rodgers' health is put into questions. The Packers' quarterback has been battling a tweaked calf and should it be needed, coach Mike McCarthy may be forced to go with backup Matt Flynn.

DeMarco Murray is another Cowboy to watch out for. Murray is one of the offensive arsenals that Dallas looks up to and this has been proven during their game against Detroit. In their last matchup, Murray recorded 134 yards and a touchdown on 18 attempts which should force the Packers to pay closer attention on him.

The Cowboys are favored 31-29 against the Packers despite Green Bay being the host.

The Packers and the Cowboys meet Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET at the Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin. The game will be televised by Fox Sports. You can also catch the game online here.
