'Chicago P.D.' season 4 fall finale spoilers, plot news: Upcoming episodes mark Jon Seda's exit; a major character to be in serious trouble?

"Chicago P.D." season 4 returns this week with a two-hour special, which will serve as the fall finale of the hit NBC police procedural drama. The first part will be episode 7, "300,000 Likes," while the second part will be episode 8 titled "A Shot Heard Round the World."

The "Chicago P.D." season 4 fall finale will see the team deal with two different cases. The first one will be concerned with the death of the one and only witness in the rape case against a young man.

A side story on this involves Antonio (Jon Seda) receiving a job offer as the lead investigator for the state attorney's office, which he will accept as it has been announced the character will be a major player in the spinoff, "Chicago Justice."

The second case in the "Chicago P.D." season 4 fall finale will involve a killer whose targets are members of the police department.

This could lead to the death of a major character if the promo is anything to go by. Two officers will be killed, making all the others realize they are dealing with a dangerous man, one who is a highly trained assassin.

The "Chicago P.D." season 4 promo shows someone in a stretcher being brought into the emergency room. There is no way of knowing who that is, but it is certainly a reason for fans to worry about their favorite detectives and police officers.

"Chicago P.D." season 4 episode 8 will also follow the storyline on Antonio. The synopsis reveals that he actually accepts the job and that Lindsay (Sophia Bush) will confront him about it.

Seda will only be in eight episodes of "Chicago P.D." season 4, which means that this will also mark his official send-off as heads toward "Chicago Justice."

"Chicago P.D." season 4 episodes 7 and 8, "300,000 Likes" and "A Shot Heard Round the World," will air on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
